The Louisiana Chamber of Commerce Foundation proudly presents the Annual Business at Bayou Classic. Held in conjunction with the historic rivalry between Louisiana’s historically Black colleges, Southern University and Grambling State University, this event transforms the excitement of the Bayou Classic into a dynamic trade show experience. Taking place on the Friday before game day, Business at Bayou Classic features over 100 businesses from across the state, engaging panel discussions, and resource vendors. It provides a unique platform for networking, showcasing products and services, and fostering connections within the vibrant Louisiana business community.

Set in the elegant ballroom of the Hyatt Regency, the event becomes a bustling marketplace spotlighting handmade goods, innovative products, and unique finds. Conveniently coinciding with Black Friday, this small business showcase allows visitors and local residents to discover Louisiana’s finest offerings while shopping for distinctive holiday gifts. From logoed swag to artisanal creations, Business at Bayou Classic is the ultimate destination to support small businesses and celebrate community entrepreneurship.

The Louisiana Chamber of Commerce Foundation has proudly hosted Business at Bayou Classic for the past three years. Each year, this event generates excitement and economic impact as visitors and locals engage with a diverse lineup of vendors. It’s an opportunity to uplift the small business ecosystem, foster connections, and highlight the entrepreneurial spirit of Louisiana.

Event Details:

When: Friday before the Bayou Classic (Black Friday)

Time: Doors open at 10:30 AM, and the bazaar runs until 4:30 PM

Where: Hyatt Regency Ballroom, New Orleans, LA

Admission: Free and open to the public

In addition to shopping, attendees can participate in panel discussions and engage with resource partners, including local tourism agencies, Louisiana government agencies, the Small Business Administration, Louisiana Economic Development Agency, regional business chambers, and small business resource centers.
